What Is Caustic Soda Flakes?
Caustic Soda Flakes are high-purity Sodium Hydroxide solids with the chemical formula NaOH. Also known as Sodium Hydroxide Flakes, this product is widely used across industrial, mining, water treatment, and detergents applications.
It dissolve readily in water to form a strongly alkaline solution. Because the product is hygroscopic and reacts with carbon dioxide in the air, it should be stored in tightly sealed packaging in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area. Always handle the product according to the relevant safety data sheet and site safety procedures.
Common Uses
Caustic Soda Flakes 99% are used for pH correction, neutralisation, chemical processing, cleaning, degreasing, water treatment, pulp and paper processing, textiles, soap and detergent production, and mining-related applications. The solid flake form is convenient where a concentrated dry alkali is required before dilution on site.
